Hey guys and gals! I just wanted to make a quick post about buying prints since my store just launched!
These are just some helpful tips on what print you should buy and what to expect.
Tip numero uno
If you want a print but are unsure of sizing, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. That way we can discuss what you have in mind and figure out the perfect size for you. If you don't want to deal with me (and I don't blame you), I HIGHLY recommend going with an 8x12 print. This size is nice enough to have matted and framed, but also not too large or expensive for someone who isn't totally sure. Keep in mind, the camera I shoot with is a 3:2 aspect ratio, so sizes like 8x10 are going to need some cropping. Always, and I mean ALWAYS make sure you know what you want before you order it. It's easier to just reach out to me with questions rather than winging it (although that is the surefire way to have the most fun).
Tip numero dos
If you see a print that you like, but not the size you want, send me an email. I can do custom sizes, but like I said above, there may be some cropping involved.
Tip numero tres
I HIGHLY recommend having your print matted. Matting is the thick white boarder you see around photos, and it really makes them pop. It also helps protect the image and will look more professional. I always like to mention this because if you have an 8x10 frame, then you would need a print smaller than that to account for the matting.
Okay, now that the tips are out of the way, I have a few more things I want to let you know!
I will also be doing some specialty prints. Canvas wrapped, metal, and specific types of paper. If you want something like this, you'll need to send me an email and order through there.
If you see any issues on the site, please let me know. I did created everything myself, so the first few orders are essentially my beta testers.
And last but not least, please understand that I am only one man. I will process and ship orders as fast as I can, I promise! That being said, if it does seem to be taking longer than usual, just send me an email and I will let you know when you can expect your image!
I will 100% make sure calendars and prints get out before Christmas though. I know some people wanted images for Christmas gifts, so I am prepared for that.
I know I've said it before, but if you have ANY questions at all, don't hesitate to email me at email@example.com. I will get back ASAP and we can figure out whatever issue you have.
Oh, and before I forget. make sure you subscribe on my website to my mailing list. I will be sending out notifications about new products, and coupon codes!
Thank you everyone for the unending support. I seriously couldn't do any of this without you guys and it means the world to me!
